Welcome to our web site. Here you can find out about and order from Swallow Fish, a long established family business who still use the last fully operational 19th Century Smokehouse in Seahouses.

There is a shop, 'The Fisherman's Kitchen', on the premises which offers a wide selection of locally caught shellfish, fresh fish and, of course, Swallows' own superb smoked salmon and kippers, as acclaimed by renowned BBC Chef Rick Stein.

Working from the last 19th century original smokehouse in Seahouses village, Patrick Wilkin traditionally smokes Salmon, Herring (to produce the world famous, "Kipper") and Haddock and Cod caught from local waters. The fish are smoked using only natural oak chips without any additives or colourings throughout any part of the process.
